2nd Annual New World Play Festival
Three Weeks. Three Parks. Endless new worlds.
We're coming back at you with NWaC's 2nd Annual New World Play Festival. We'll be in three different Chicago Park Districts location's develop new plays with a range of local Chicago artists & community people. The New Worlds we are exploring this year's group of short plays are a little bit funny, a little bit scary, or a little heart-breaking, but they all show us a little bit about our world right now. Across the city, we want to discover: How do our parks serve as places of community? What happens when community changes? What happens when our communities reach out to each other? In Rogers Park, Lawndale, and South Chicago, we will be digging into these questions with new plays written and developed in our local parks.
